We are four veterans who share a deep appreciation for bourbon and an unbreakable bond forged in service abroad. We believe in the power of gathering together, sharing stories, and raising a glass to honor the sacrifices of our brothers and sisters in arms and those who have supported them.
Our commitment to quality, authenticity, and brotherhood runs through everything we do, from sourcing and crafting small-batch bourbons to supporting veteran causes and organizations that make a real difference in our communities.
GREGORY R. WRIGHT, JR.
Co-Founder Rick Franco founded Four Branches Bourbon to honor the memory of his friend Greg Wright, Jr. (1973–2005), a classmate from the Virginia Military Institute and Marine Officer who gave his life in Iraq to save others. Greg, the first CIA contractor awarded the Intelligence Star, exemplified the quiet courage of the “unsung shadows” who serve our nation.
Greg’s sacrifice inspired Rick and co-founders Mike Trott, Harold Underdown, and RJ Casey to create Four Branches as a tribute to these heroes. Together, they are dedicated to sharing stories like Greg’s, ensuring these acts of bravery are never forgotten.
WHAT OUR STANDS FOR
US AIR FORCE
Represented by the large sweeping vertical mark stretching to the sky. Supports all branches with significant air superiority.
US MARINE CORPS
The leanest branch of the services, but their infantry is the backbone of amphibious warfare capabilities. They are often represented by the sword and bayonet.
US NAVY
The vertical portion of our symbol represents a submarine sail or ship’s mast or as they maintain our freedom and security on the seas.
US ARMY
The base foundation mark, represents the first branch of the military upon which all other branches and services are built.
